Beane: Matthew Rush
 

Matthew Rush is a local actor. He just got done with a stint as the circus's "World's Tallest Dwarf" and enjoys cooking in the eternal hell of summer weather. He's recently appeared in Texarkana Waltz and You Can't Take It With You.

Joan: Jessica Navedo

Jessica is an artist who lives and works in Seattle and the surrounding area. Growing up on the Pacific Ocean in the Redwood forest has given her a special love for nature. She also likes yoga, dancing, gardening, art, beading, sewing and literature. She recently performed multiple roles in The Vagina Monologues including The Woman Who Loved to Make Vaginas Happy.

Harry/Waiter: Don Cancela

Don Cancela is a student at Shoreline Community College. He has appeared in Texarkana Waltz and The Shoreline Shorts and has no interest in the food service field.

Molly: Layne Tisdel Martin

Layne Tisdel Martin is an actor, professional vagabond, and maker of benevolent mischief. She has appeared on stage in The Shoreline Shorts, Texarkana Waltz, and The Vagina Monologues. She has a hard core travel habit, poetic inclinations, and a healthy appetite for the unorthodox. She is the producer and fairy godmother of logistics behind this production of Love Song. 

 

Director: William Lavely

William is an actor, director, and filmmaker with a passion for uninhibited storytelling. He has performed on stage in numerous roles at Seattle Public Theatre's Bathhouse, including Vincentio in Taming of the Shrew, Don John in Much Ado About Nothing, and Mortimer Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace.  He was chosen for the playwright partnership to write a one-act play directed and performed at Seattle’s Repertory Theater. Will has been directing since high school, where his directorial debut, Paul Knag’s Dead Rats, picked up ten Roosevelt High School Dramafest awards including best actor, best actress, best supporting actress and most challenging script. His producer has noticed that he likes midnight hotdog breaks and specializes in innovative blocking. 

Artistic Janitor: Chris Fisher

Chris has been directing, acting, writing, and teaching theater and film at regional colleges and theaters for over 20 years. She received an MFA in theater from Rutgers University. Her directing credits include Cloud Nine by Caryl Churchill, Lady from the Sea and A Doll's House by Ibsen, Travesties by Tom Stoppard, The Skin of Our Teeth and Our Town by Thornton Wilder, Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire and The God of Hell by Sam Shepard.

Betsy Kieckhaefer is an adult child. She likes dogs and swinging at the park. For her, the hammock life is the only life.  Outside of the hammock, she is an installaton artist. She loves to use found natural objects (sticks), electrical cables, and an array of fibers.

Tech Sorcerer: Kirsten Zeller

Kirsten is a stage manager, theater tech, and filmmaker in the Seattle area. She has worked on numerous shows including Hairspray, You Can't Take It With YouTexarkana Waltz, and The Vagina Monologues. In her spare time she enjoys photography, reading, and fending off hordes of paperwork.

PR Genius: Sharon Wilfong

Sharon (Helen Wheels) Wilfong is a creative drama queen who has wisely chosen to use her social networking skills to promote her work as well as the work of other creatives.
