My name is Layne Tisdel Martin. I'm a professional vagabond, a word warrior, an actor, and a perpetual student. I have a hard core travel habit, poetic tendencies, and a healthy appetite for the unexpected.
I hold a B.A. in journalism from the University of North Texas and multiple certifications from The Travel Institute. I recently finished earning professional certification in acting for the stage and camera. I've also studied many other things from fiber art to ethnomusicology.
Perhaps more importantly, I've crossed the Arctic Circle and
witnessed the magic of the Northern Lights, snorkeled the psychedelic underwater jungles of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, trekked across Washington State on foot by way of the Pacific Crest Trail, and tracked wild orangutans in remote Malaysian Borneo, among many other adventures.
